Why Isn’t My Blog Getting Impressions?

I have posted around 40 blogs. But my website is not getting impressions. How I can fix it?

I would create your topical map before you just create 40 blogs.

If you want to rank for

Then blogs would be

What is a carrot?

What colour is a carrot?

How to cook a carrot

What does a carrot taste like

How to grow a carrot

When to grow a carrot

How to cook a carrot

How much sugar is in a carrot.

Can you steam a carrot

Can’t I make a carrot burned

Etc.

You will really have to target like this more to get things ranking

Providing all of your other on page and technical stuff is really good.

You wouldn’t rank by

Is a carrot orange

How did the carrot get orange

Does an orange carrot taste like oranges.

Do orange carrots have orange juice.

No one cares about those or search for them.

Make blogs relevant.

For myself, I see so much crap out there.

We are the premier carrot makers in Chicago.

We have the most delicious carrot in LA for local shoppers

Make blogs better I guess is my point.

Just creating blogs doesn’t rank.

Google values quality over quantity. You need to make sure that your articles are optimised for SEO. H1, H2, lists, alt image text, meta tags, etc etc.... and the content needs to be helpful, it needs to be adding value for the people that read the articles. If search engine bots crawl the pages and you don't meet the above criteria you will find it hard to be listed.

Make sure you setup an analytics tool like GSC to track your page stat's and issues with indexing.

Are these blogs on the same server / ip address? Are they relevant to your other content? How fast did you post the blog articles (time between articles) ? Are the articles made with help of AI?

Make sure blogs and web pages are unique content, not AI, with meta complete to the topic. Then, post on a Blog schedule either, monthly, biweekly, or weekly.

Were those articles written to a plan so they support each other? Have you acquired any backlinks? Is the content actually good? The days where you can put it up and they just magically appear are long gone.

You should always try to published unique blog contect. Never use AI for the content because google bot can detect the AI contect. If suddenly your website will rank in google by the way you can't hold your position for long time

Google these days is all over the place so it takes a while before they notice new websites. If you want to speed up the process even for a bit you can manually Index every Blog post/page. This won't guarantee you good rankings but it will speed up the process of getting your blog posts published online worldwide, so it can be found on internet. There is a whole tutorial on YouTube how to Index your blog posts or pages, and it's fairly simple.

1) Might seem like an obvious question…but is anyone looking for the content you are creating? Do some research into the search volumes for the topic(s) and keywords related to your blogs. If no one is searching, you won’t get impressions.

2) Blogs are typically only successful when they support other useful content on your site. This is the new world we live in. EEAT is essential.

We get such questions all the time in this group and in almost 100% of all cases we find that the content is low quality and does not deserve to be indexed. Is your website one of the very few exceptions?
